Ellen Bryan joined the ABC 36, WTVQ News Team as the weekend anchor and weekday reporter during the summer of 2012.
On June 18, 2011 Ellen was crowned Miss Ohio 2011. The Miss Ohio Scholarship Pageant is part of the Miss America Organization. On January 14, Ellen competed for the title of Miss America 2012 live on ABC.
She is a 2011 graduate of Ball State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications with an emphasis in news.
Ellen has served as a national spokesperson for lightning safety though a partnership with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
She is also an advocate for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, American Red Cross, and Girl Scouts of America.
