When I walk into work at 3 a.m., I'm what people would call a hot mess. With just lotion on my face and my damp hair in a clip at the top of my head, I'm so far from being TV ready. As a lifelong acne fighter (I'm almost 30, isn't this supposed to stop by now?!), I'm sometimes impressed that I actually show my face in the newsroom with red angry dots on it. But then I figure this shows I'm human. Yes, I get acne, bags under my eyes and dry skin. Here's why you don't see it all that often on TV... the magic of makeup.
While I'm not an expert, I do put on my own makeup for air every morning. So, I'll show you what I know and my routine. And if you have any suggestions to make this process better - or a fun addition as I'm looking to change it up, please tell me in the comments section!

And have fun! It's like working on an art project every morning. But never forget you don't need any makeup to be beautiful, that comes from within. AND, if you put this much makeup on regularly, give your face a break when you can. I like to use one of my weekend days to go makeup free.
From my TV high heels, to the baseball cap I wear nearly everywhere else... I'm finding my voice in this blogging world.
